Based in Brooklyn, NY, ‘Walk With Me’ is an indie film in its truest sense. Filmed in four one week intervals over the course of a year, with a micro-budget and a lot of love, ‘Walk With Me’ is an intimate, beautiful film that explores womanhood, love and the courage it takes to step into ones life.
‘Walk With Me’ has screened at many festivals worldwide including Cinequest Film Festival and Inside Out Film Festival amongst others. ‘Walk With Me’ has won Best Outstanding Actor and the Spirit Award at Brooklyn Film Festival and Best Emerging Filmmaker at Manhattan Film Festival, Best Female Composer at Toronto Int’l Women’s Festival, Best LGBTQ Film at Lady Filmmakers, Best Feature at New York Int'l Women's Film Festival, was the Centerpiece Film at Kashish Mumbai International Film Festival and one of two sponsored films at BFI Flare in London.

Amanda Walther
Original Music and Soundtrack
Amanda Walther is a Juno nominated singer-songwriter from Toronto, Canada. She has spent most of her career as half of folk-roots duo Dala; who have toured throughout North America and are known internationally from their PBS special ‘Girls from the North Country’. Her songs have been featured in numerous television shows in both Canada and the U.S.
Amanda wrote 16 original songs for ‘Walk With Me’, four of which are performed in the film by Bridget Barkan, as Logan. One song, ‘Sweet Heat’ a dance/pop song Amanda wrote for a bar scene, performed by Sheila Carabine and the eleven others serve as a moving and incredible soundtrack.
This is Amanda’s first feature film. The music is seamlessly interwoven into, and equal part to, the emotional DNA of what makes ‘Walk With Me’ the beautiful journey that it is.
A story of love, finding yourself, finding your person, being a parent, and being visible, all in one carefully crafted movie; this is a must-see film for anyone and everyone!…
